This problem was resolved with the PS3 firware update 2.01. I tried to put a poll in here but it did not work. Sorry for the confusion as I had a post in another section, and this is where the resolution was discussed:-

Really pleased with the MPEG2 fix now. Now I have more time to play with other aspects .

Does anyone know if there is a way in Twonky to tag the VOB files like giving them an XML details file to enalbe searching by anything other that the File Name?

Excellent news after looking into the other post more closley. The installation of PS3 Firware 2.01 seems to sort this particular problem out. For interest here is the other post I found on this site :-), maybe i'll look a little harder next time. Unless Twonky can setu a dedicated Client for the PS...
