Thanks, I also got an email from Twonky Support also reporting the same, so Finger's crossed that there will be an offical update soon. As I'm using a QNAP Server TS-109 Pro, so will need QNAP to update their firmware to this new offical Twonky Server version.

Was there any solution to this, as this a major problem for me as I don't want to re-encode my iTunes library.

It would seem like a problem with Twonky Server, as putting the same music files on a USB pen drive work's fine on the PS3.

I also have the same problem with QNAP ts-109, and all my .m4a don't seem to playable on my PS3 via Twonky Vision.

However the exactly same file on a USB pen drive inserted into the PS3 and play's fine.

Hi,
I have used ACC for my iTunes library and also cannot have these files played. They are appearing as .m4a's

I would be interested in how to solve this as I have a QNAP ts-109.
