Re: New Feature Requests
The one thing that annoys me is the way it adds content from content paths in the media browser. If I add the following folders to list: d:\data\videos\jan\ containing a.mpg, b.mpg, c.mpg d:\data\videos\feb\ containing d.mpg, e.mpg, f.mpg d:\data\videos\mar\ containing g.mpg, h.mpg, i.mpg then on th...

Re: Windows Vista EFS encryption breaks streaming
I can confirm that the PS3 can now see encrypted EFS folders streamed from Twonky using this method.

Re: Windows Vista EFS encryption breaks streaming
Well it appears nobody knew or cared enough to find the answer to this but I found it myself anyway.... You need to go to the Services dialog in Vista and stop the TwonkyMedia service. Then right click on it and select properties - go to the Log On tab and choose the user you encryted the files with...

Windows Vista EFS encryption breaks streaming
If you use EFS encryption feature of Windows (File->Properties->Advanced->Encrypt contents to secure data) to encrypt a folder containing normal items which Twonky can normally stream to the PS3 (like .JPG), then they no longer work - PS3 throws up some sort of a corrupt file error. The thing is, EF...

Re: "has invalid date" all over my hard drive!!!
Is there any way to STOP twonky writing these "invalid_date" files while it is trying to add folders to its database? They are bloody annoying because they cause Vista to stop producing thumbnail icons for image folders...

Re: Custom navigation tree setup instructions?
Yes but when i change the navigation to any of the options on dropdown - Simple, IPod like, Advanced and hit save changes, the tree structure doesn't change (for either video or photos)!! :!: . It stays as Folder-Folder, Date-Year/Month for photo and just Folder-Folder for video!?!?? I seem to remem...

Re: Custom navigation tree setup instructions?
I don't know how to do what you want short of putting all your data under one root folder or setting the entire drive to share. It's a bit crap though because there is no security or login at all through the media server so anything you have shared is accessible to anyone who turns on your PS3 - it'...

Re: 4.4.6 Out Now!
Anyone know if the album art problem is fixed? It was suppsed to be fixed a long time ago... (The problem is that album art for albums with '&' or other similar characters in them doesn't work) DO the release notes say it is? If not, then no. Where are these release notes you speak of??? Also where...
