Re: Maxtor Central Axis
Anyone yet managed to install the latest Twonky server onto any MSS II, especially running 3.5.74? I managed to get 4.11 onto it, but nothing later.

Re: Licence and settings lost on NAS reboot
I had similar problems, and worked-around as follows: Check your router and see which site Twonky is phoning'home to, block that site and delete the twonkymedia.ini (maybe called twonkyserver?) file.

Twonky on MSSII and access to an externbal drive
Hi,
The new Central Axis software now enbles the MSSII inbuilt media server to index videos etc. on an external USB drive.
However, in Twonky I can't find a way to direct it to look the the external hard-drive - all the paths look like limited to the internal HD.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
David.

Re: license key already in use
Sure enough, deleted the .ini file and blocked access to http://www.twonkymedia.com and my license key relives. Twonky are breaching contract by using my internet conneciton to talk back to their server - all without permisison. And Germany is quite strict on such maters. Twonky, behave yourselves, ...

Re: Twonky uninstall on MSS2
Go to reinstall it on your MSS II and there are 2 tick-boxes - one = install, the other install. Just tick uninstall. If you are tryng to do this to use your license key just once - watch out - there are many users now finding that even a single install says that the license key is already in use. W...

Re: license key already in use
I have the same problem, had to delete the ini file and am now in the 30 days trial period. If I enter my license key - shuts me out saying the key is used elsewhere - which it is not.
Are Twonky going to put their hands up, admit that a bug and correct?
