Re: Can't view videos any more??
I figured it out. Twonky stores the IP address of any media players it sees. I run DHCP on my LAN. Since the last time I'd successfully used Twonky, my PS3 had gotten a different IP assignment and it conflicted with another host. Clearing the client table fixed the problem, and I set a fixed IP on t...

Can't view videos any more??
I have a LaCie NAS with a built-in Twonky server. I rip DVDs using Handbrake into mp4 format and play them on my PS3. This has worked fine in the past. I haven't used my PS3 for media-served files for a while, but I just ripped a few new DVDs and went to check them on the PS3. The PS3 sees the media...

Re: Problems displaying JPG/GIF/TIF/PNG files?
Great idea. Here are several files. SMPTE1080.jpg works in the PS3, but none of the others do -- including SMPTE1080.PNG. I believe SMPTE1080.JPG was the original, and I converted it to PNG using IrfanView, so it's the same picture but in a different format. The GIF and PNG files don't work. I also ...

Re: Problems displaying JPG/GIF/TIF/PNG files?
Anyone? Anyone?? C'mon, 43 views and not a single suggestion? Nobody else has run into this? BTW I've tried hitting Triangle and copying the files to the PS3, as suggested elsewhere for a similar problem, but the PS3 says there are "no image files to copy." I finally put the images on a USB stick an...

Problems displaying JPG/GIF/TIF/PNG files?
I have a number of photos (JPG) on my Lacie NAS running 4.4.2. The PS3 displays them just fine. I also put several test-pattern images on there, in various formats including JPG. The PS3 says almost all of them are "Unsupported format." A few of them work, but I don't know why they're any different....

Re: Lacie Big Disk
I got the solution from Lacie. The steps were: Remove all updates. I'd updated to 1.2.1 for the Big Disk but apparently that's wrong. Update to 1.0.10 (http://www.lacie.com/download/drivers/EDmini-Updater_1.0.10.zip) -- but mine was already at that level after removing updates. Update to 1.1.2 (http...

Lacie Big Disk
Please forgive the clueless questions, but I haven't been able to find any docs or manuals anywhere. The manual for my Lacie 1TB Big Disk is useless. By googling around, I've discovered the uPnP server in the Lacie is apparently TwonkyVision. OK, cool. Now how do I use it? The Lacie interface just l...
