Re: Advice needed regarding a FLAC capable client
Thanks for all the replies  But seriously, I bought a wifi Vistron MX200i, which connects to Twonky via UPNP and whilst the latest and greatest firmware doesn't play FLAC files, I changed to a Sharpfin base firmware and then added a - what seems like - fairly generic firmware for Reciva based I...

Re: Order of tracks on albums is sometimes wrong
As with you, I got sick of the inconsistency :? So I went with the rename all title tags as track+title option . I've saved the original title in a new tag called orig_title. It's not prefect, but at least I can be sure it works every time. However, I would like to get back to the way it was... even...

Re: Basic Beginner help needed please !
Hi
I do something similar... I have a NAS serving music via my Denon AMP and I choose which music to play via a menu on my plasma screen.
It's depends on which Denon AMP you have though...
And when you say "an external hard drive", so you mean attached to your PC or is it a NAS?

Re: Coverart not showing
I would give it a try on a single track. MP3Tag (http://www.mp3tag.de/en/) will enable you to load 1 or all your track at once and then automatically tag 1 or all your tracks with artwork. If you don't already have it, it's freeware... give it a go and see what happens. On the toolbar, one of the fi...

Re: Coverart not showing
I'm unsure whether your setup is similar to mine, but I serve Twonky from a NAS and use my Denon 4308 Receiver as the client. I can use the small Denon screen or the TV to view the music. When you embed the artwork as a tag, you just need to search for music in your music folder(s). The tag is then ...

Re: Additional tag fields
Does anyone have any idea when this will be supported?
I know I'm not the only one requesting support of more standard tag fields

Re: Coverart not showing
I have no problem with displaying coverart... but then I embed mine as a tag :) If it helps, I use http://www.muvenum.com which I've found is excellent... but if you think this support is bad       MuvEnUm finds the artwork by searching various 'net sites and then aut...

Re: Twonky can't see my music
Sorted! Thanks for all the help
Just deleted the media.ini file and allowed it to be recreated. The strange things is that I've compared the old & new files and for the life of me, I can't see any difference!

Twonky can't see my music
I had it working perfectly on 4.4.6, but I thought I'd play with 5.0 beta for the transcoding functionality. However, when 5.0 beta didn't recognise my music, I put 4.4.6 back. However, nothing I do will now make Twonky see my music. I am running an IB4220 NAS. What I did... I created 2 extra folder...

Additional tag fields
Hi All I'm fairly sure it's not the tags that are causing this, but for the avoidance of doubt, I'm using MP3tag 2.41 to auto tag my FLAC files and MuvUnderCover to find an auto add the cover jpg. I'm ripping using BonkEnc. The problem... I want to use the composer field that is listed as a valid fi...

Netgear, NAS & FLAC
Hi All Clearly I'm a newbie here :), but have searched for my particular issue unsuccessfully... I have approx 1.2TB of FLAC on my ICYbox/IB-NAS4220-B NAS and my Denon 4308 streams these fantastically well. However, I have an old MP101 that I wanted to set-up for the kids playroom. I have rea...
