Re: Limit access by IP

It is a shame that these type of features are not available in Twonky  So far as I can tell I can't do IP filtering nor content filtering, so I may be forced to go back to using TVersity instead as at least with that i can filter by IP and run a second server with only children's content :x Th...

Re: Twonky and network shares

On the sharing page use the IP address of the file server not its name i.e. for me I use \\192.168.2.150\Music instead of \\WILMA\Music and that works. PB I don't know why but it didn't work, too. During the last hours I've tried the version \\10.10.200.200\music\parents and file://10.10.200.200/mu...

Twonky and network shares

My twonky server is installed on a XP client working as a server. I had my media files on a file server which is not identical with the first. My problem is that twonky didn't find the files on that other server. I can see that on the twonky server statuspage: Letzte Änderung: Läuft... [- unc shar...

>Has anyone got it working on another brand of NAS box? Yes, Synology DS106j this NAS works, but not fine. This is because twonkey didn't recognize german letters, sometimes the box NOPS, UPnP is extreme slow, and I have 8 childprocesses of twonky on my box - snip - 560 root 76 S /volume1/public/two...

Re: Problem with 4.4.9 and playlists

Hi,

I've seen the same issue. The first thing duringafter installation was all predefinated names (upload dir: music instead of Musik, treenames not the contents of the dropdownbox a.s.o.) appears in english and not in german.

In most of previous releases I hadn't this issue.

Re: Basic Beginner help needed please !

TwonkyVision is an UPnP Media Server. You need an UPnP media render (e.q. Roku M1001 - http://www.roku.com) which can access the server, M1001 is a stand alone device, you need no additional display. Here http://www.twonkyvision.com/Products/TwonkyMedia/devices.html you find examples of other device...

Re: Are You Happy With Your Philips Hardware?

No I'm not satisfied with the hard- and software.

Hardware is to slow q.e. scrolling, Software not in line with standards. Very suspicious service-concept. But I had bought three items and have to live with them now. All my newer UPnP devices are not from Phillips.
