I would check to see it the server is stuck trying to scan a bad file
When you do get the server config page to load
What does the server status page indicate, is it scanning ?

Im a little confused

You say you want it hidden, but want it also to be accessable?

I think what you are saying is:
You want client devices to NOT see the playlists container
But from a web browser you DO want to see the playlists container

Is that correct?

You know anohter way to find out if the set does work with srt files
Is if you have pc, install the samsung media share software, and see if it works from there

Its probably a combination of both, firmware of tv and version of streaming server I know recently there was a lot fo back and forth with people updating firmware and twonky versions to get all of the kinks worked out I would also check to seeif there is any firmware updates for your LG and check on...

My personal opinion about network devices is this

If it is a printer, nas, router, access point, etc.
They should always be using static IP address
Once you start to link and shortcut to things on them
It all goes bad when the IP changes on them due to using dhcp

Ya know I am really starting to wonder about 6.x and transcoding What works in 5.x does not work 6.x and there isnt much different if at all between them in how you accomplish the settings I about give up on trying to get transcoding to even attempt to work in 6.x as I cant even get 6.x to transcode...

Th only thing I can think of at the moment
In a post here in the forums, there was talk about flac in linux and something to do with root
they had a workaround for it
But trying to serach in here is da worst!

The reason it might stop running is that your not logged in as root Once you log out of the user you are logged in as all your sessions will end Which is why they have you create the script under root so that when the root user logs in upon boot time it will run that script to start twonky there may...

they do the same thing, just two ways of doing the same thing

but if you dont know you ip at the time your in there
then edit the ini

the ip part we dont want to do is the thing from earlier
where ip=
we want it to equal nothing, wich is auto
and the deafult
so there is nothing to do in that regard
