1) is unfortunately a problem of the XBOX360

2) looks more like a config problem - the server shoulkd scan for videos also in mixed directories if you did not apply the picture only seeting for that path

3) no idea :(

WMA should work
MPEG2 should work

MPEG4 is difficult but there are files that work
would be great to get a list of tools which produce working files

WMV does not work

we can not get AVI to work

It is not Infrants fault! It is just that it takes a few days to build the release - and that they just need this time. Nothing bad about this - we just wait until we send them the final release until we know its stable - so that they do not need to build the Addon over and over again. It is always ...

it is a common upnp av problem - which can not be solved with this protocol. UPnP AV renderers "may" event their current playing position - with about an accuracy of a second. This is not enough for synch playback.

Hi, we are about to release 4.3 - mainly because of the XBOX360 video problems. We also change to a CD Key license by this version - for testing now you should just be ok with the 30 day trial - we will send the keys together with the real release. Hi,

we do not have an XBMX - but if it can see another UPnP server like
WMC or Tversity - an Ethereal (or Wireshark) dump of the first connection and Browse would help (no need to playback content).

Send it to gran@twonkyvision.de

Hi,

lame is used to transcode mp3 to LPCM - a requied format by the DLNA. But nothing for "pratical" use right now :-)

So do not worry - mp3 is not recoded or converted to other bitrates.

we are working on it and our next beta will just talk exactly the same protocol as the D-Link server. problem is between the DSM-320 and the server when using DivX files. For this the DSM requests only 16KB packets - and lots of them for a video. The SLUG is pushed to its limits by all these requests. We try to solve this - but it is not so easy :-(

specify different user prefered names and ports

thank it should work
