Hi Joe,

As far as I knew, subtitles only worked with MKV and some AVI files, but here is a post of a user saying it was working with MP4. I'm posting it here in case it includes helpful tips.

Although it's true that TwonkyManager includes TwonkyServer, my comments were related to the file scanner only -- which is part of TwonkyServer.

I was told that TwonkyServer only supports subtitles on Samsung TVs. TwonkyServer is a UPnP/DLNA media server and doing subtitles over UPnP is not that common.

There is no way to manually index. Check the media browser for the server to see if it can see your media files or not. Some devices hide formats/codecs they do not support.
