Re: QNAP TS459-Pro II & TwonkyMedia 6.0.34
Sorry to hear that you're having problems. Make sure your MPEG files aren't 1080p. Sony doesn't support those. At least my Sony Blu-ray player doesn't. I don't see why restarting the server would help. That's interesting. Your USB memory stick test probably doesn't mean anything because most manufac...

First check to make sure your device plays this format. If your device plays this format please let me know.
In the meantime, you may want to try changing to other device profiles and see if that helps.

This probably would require a signifigant amount of engineering work on our end to fix. The one possible workaround I can think of is to go to the Media Receivers server settings page and change your client to Xbox. It's a long shot, but it's all I can think of right now. If you can see your songs/albums on the Twonky media browser pages then we are serving them to clients on your network. Sounds like WMP might be filtering things. I don't know much about the Beosound 5. If it is designed to work with UPnP or DLNA media servers we should show up. The only thing I can think of which might prevent this is if Multicasting is disabled on your router.

Here is a generic response but it might help you. Sometimes TwonkyServer doesn't correctly identify devices and loads a generic device profile. In some cases this can result in thumbnails being displayed -- instead of the full-sized photos. Ways to fix this: 1. Go to the server settings pages and cl...
