the qnp has a web interface,
that you probably get to with a url or an ip in a web browser
use that same ip with :9000

When you make the change, are you clicking the save button?
Prior to 7.2.x one could force a client choice to stick, via config file
But to do this in 7.2.x and 7.3.x, one has to resort to drastic measures
which involve removing the xml for files and or sometimes adjusting existing ones

there is no limit
except if the it is greater than 4GB
it had to have been encoded, with large file support setting, which enables 64bit support in the MP4 container

for reference: http://127.0.0.1:9000/#sharing if you look under sharing, and then look under Media Receivers you will see the clients listed by mac and ip address, and the assigned "Media Receiver Type" See if one of the other client profiles work For example: Sony Bravia Sony Blu-Ray Player Sony STB

On the Windows version they install it as a service, and use a system try applet which was the issue on that other thread On the OSX version they seemed to have combined the two when ever one starts the server, it is launching the web config site I cant find a way to make it stop doing that I would ...

I did a test by installing 7.3 onto OSX 10.9.4, and I did not see the issue after rebooting I had to actually manually launch twonky from the applications folder - maybe the upgrade caused the issue - or maybe when you shutdown you have launch open windows on start checked I tried this, and still ha...

depending on which version of twonky server one of more the following settings will tell you where they are located in the twonkyserver.ini, to find out what a setting is set to, you can use an rpc call for example: here is an example to find out what "uploadmusicdir" is set to just use this url in ...

I think the only nas builds that have it are the i386 builds,
not sure why they didn't include it for the other platorms
though you can use ffmpeg as an alternative for thumbnail generation
