Hi
I think some media players have the ability to alter the tag (I'd avoid them). Thankfully, Twonky does not touch the tags.

Re: 5.0.65 Server release and ReadyNas Duo
Hi All seems well. As I say, you need to delete the old database (as you would do before any TMS 5.0.xx full database rebuild) as it kicks one off anyway. It works well and I've not noticed any difference. I think 5.0.65 is meant to handle non 160x160 art better but since mine is all 160x160 anyway,...

Hi Plus one vote for the above from me; I certainly don't want capitalisation applied to any displayed text! As far as I am concerned, I see this as a bug and thus believe it needs fixing before any product launch. I can guarantee that people will complain about this, so it would be far better to ad...

5.0.65 Update for ReadyNAS Duo and NV+
Hi I use the Super-Poussin build of 5.0.55 from the Netgear forum. This puts the database safely in a new directory (/c/webroot/Twonky/db). I just extracted the twonkymediaserver file from the Linux SPARC glibc 2.3.2 build file and over wrote the 5.0.55 one on my NAS. It now reports to be 5.0.65 (it...

Re: FLAC playback interrupted ca. every 15 seconds
Actually, another issue I'd forgotten is the rescan time. If this is set incorrectly (really low) the NAS can be almost continuously scanning and thus needlessly using up resources. This could be another reason why data flow is being interrupted and thus why you are getting dropouts. To check this, ...

Hi That's an odd one. I can certainly say that streaming FLAC files from a ReadyNAS and Twonky 4.4.11 to Linn DS players works a treat. Hi
Do you just mean the media server name? If so, that's set in the config page (your.nas.ip.address:9000/config) under first steps. Just type in the name you wish to call it and hit the save changes button (I think you are then prompted to restart the server).

Hi I assume that the ReadyNAS build is derived from the Linux SPARC glibc 2.3.2 build?
