There is a few apps that will show the peak and average throughputs between 2 PC's on home networks, even 802.11n fluctuates to an extent I wouldn't expect fault-free video streaming (even SD).

2. Not streaming mpeg video without stopping however it plays perfect via cable lan. (it needs to go wireless for the most part so hence the purpose of Twonky) Streaming video via wireless is always going to be a dodgy business, as the bandwidth and fluctuations, even with the buffering that Twonky...

Doesn't sound like a PS3 problem, more a network or problem with the WHS build.

You can use a TMM Licence key for TMS.

Do you connect through a router? Have a look in the settings see if there is anything to do with broadcasting or UPnP.
It's unlikely to have anything to do with firmware 3.21, it's working just fine with that on my PS3.

It's transcoding because the server thinks the client does not understand AAC format. If this is the case, then you have no option really than either leave all your music in it's current format and let it transcode it on the fly (it should cache things, so next time it does not need to convert the s...

I think Twonkymedia needs to be run as root.

Working perfectly here. Never have any problems my Twonky/Linux and PS3 setup work 100% for music, videos and pictures. I do have some performance problems with rescaling pictures (for my setup it's better to NOT rescale), and I had to tweak the database to get it to not rescale, but aside from that...

One of the big advantages of the 5.x server, is it's much more friendy to system resources with very large libraries. If you can, update to that (it's a chargable upgrade, but there is a trial available)

I do the same with my email address, and never seen any problems. There could be lots of areas for compromise, including your local computer... Have you scanned it with a reputable and upto date spyware and virus scanner?

The webpage (the greyed out options) is BACKGROUND transcoding. The .location and .desc files are for on-the-fly conversion. Sounds like you have the 2 mixed up. I believe they are independent. It's a tad confusing I know

Not possible, the DVD interactive menus are script and code, and this is not streamable by ANY product.
