Poor sound quality after upgrade

Hi,

I've just upgraded to Twonky 4.3 and my DLINK DSM320 did an automatic update as well.

Now the sound quality für mp3 files is very poor (metallic sound). Before the upgrade everything was perfect.

I'm just not sure if the twonky upgrade, or the dsm upgrade caused this issue.

Is there anybody who experienced something similar?

kind regards,
Oliver

My DSM320RD has just upgraded to version 1.04.08eu and, at first, I also had awful sound quality from both video and audio files.
I solved this by turning the volume down (on the DSM320RD) to about halfway - 5 dots.
Presumably, the new firmware resets it to maximum.

I can also confirm this. The last DSM firmware update messed up the volume levels. It is now much too sensitive, which overloads the signal (producing that metallic sound you are experiencing). Setting the DSM's volume to 4 dots cleared it up for me. 5 dots still had some faint signal clipping.
