This is my first post here
I'm trying to get the Twonky Media Server Demo to stream from my G5 Apple mac OSX 10.4.11 to my new Philips 42PFL9803H TV, which has a DNLA Ethernet connection. My mac and TV are both connected to my router with cat5e ethernet cables. The tv is seeing the router (it displays an IP address), but when i run Twonky and prompt the tv to the DNLA connection it says its unable to connect.
The problem is probably my complete lack of knowledge regarding networks and so i'll be posting in the mac forum for help configuring the network, but i wanted to check if it may be a compatibility problem with my old D-Link G604T router (it works fine for my broadband!)
Or is it because i'm only using the Twonky Demo?
