limits to number of songs?

Hello,
I have a registered version of the latest tms 4.xx build on a dns-323. I have been streaming my videos and pictures without issues.
I decided to put my music collection on it so I could access though my ps3.
With smallish music collections it works great but once I go over around 30k songs, it doesn't pick up all the songs.
It even stops the scanning for new videos until I no longer share the music directories and rebuild the db.
Is there some limit to the number of songs or the size of the db? The db seems to grow to around 75 megs and I have a lot of disk space available.
If there is a song limit, is the issue resolved in the 5.x versions? I tried installing the latest 5.x version but I couldn't get it to work correctly.
Regards.
