Firstly - i just want to apologize for double posting. i posted this on the Twonky Server section then realized there is a D-Link specific section. so ive posted a copy here. Admins if you want to remove/delete my original post in the Twonky Server section you can do.

So my question is:
Has anyone got the D-Link DNS-323 and Twonky Server 6.0 working together? if so was it easy to install to the DNS-323 and what are your experiences with it?

Im looking at buying a new NAS since i cant get T.S 6.0 working on my ICYBOX 5220 :(
Hopefully i can find an easy to install T.S 6.0 onto the NAS itself and easy to use BEFORE i purchase one this time

so any advice would be helpful

again, im sorry for the double post :(

Hi

See my post under [How to] Install Twonky 6.0.31 on a D-Link DNS323. I have successfully installed 6.0.31-RC6 and I think someone has now got 6.0.32 working, but I know another person who has not managed to get 6.0.32 to start. I can certainly say that I had no issues installing 6.0.31 on a friends D-Link and have posted extensive instructions on the subject (there's a link to them in my 'how to' post).

Ive got D-Link all up and running and Twonky 6 installed fine :)
ive dumped a .mkv into a folder on the NAS and using Twonky i set the navigation path to \\DLINK-938EEC\Volume_1\Videos and as all media type so it should pick it up. but my WDTV Live picks up Twonky but doesn't find the folder path

any advise to pick this up? am i missing something?

That path is the way a Windows computer would see the folder. You need to enter a path as the D-Link sees the path. Use the Browse button on the Twonky Sharing page to see the directories that Twonky can see.

Thanks for the reply :)
Ive tried that but the directories that come up once i click browse dont match up to the directories on my D-Link. There is things like: root, var, etc but searching my D-Link i cant find these.

Then there should be /mnt in the list. Click on that you should then see the mounted disk partitions. I believe in the list will be HD_a2. Click on that then press Select.
