I am able to connect and play media from Twonky running on either a Windows PC , IPad or an Android Phone. from my Sony BDP BX57 Blu-ray player. It is connected to a Sony Bravia TV and it also works great with internet media - including Netflix, Youtube etc.
However, I cannot beam media to it from my PC, IPad or Android phone using Twonky Manager or Twonky Beam. It does not show up on the available Players list. Is there a way to make it available as a media player with Twonky.
It would be great to be able to beam shows and videos from my PC or Ipad to it.
Thanks

Although I could be wrong, I don't think this model lets you push media to it. I have a similar model at home and it PULLs media fine, but can't accept PUSHED media. We have a Sony BDP S390 here at work and that seems to accept media beamed from Twonky software (mobile or computer).

I just confirmed your model is a DMP only on the DLNA site. http://www.dlna.org/consumer-home/look- ... uct-search
You need a DMR to accept pushed media.
