Lenovo EMC IX2

Sorry if this is posted to the wrong group. I just got a Lenovo EMC IX2 NAS from Amazon and of course I have no clue what I'm doing with Twonky. I know it's supposed to stream and a bunch other stuff but when I went to the Lenovo Website and downloaded all the latest software it's says I have version 7.0.9 Special and says "Please enter a license key to activate this software. If a license was not provided, you can obtain one by visiting http://www.twonky.com. I would expect the key to have come with the unit or do I still have to purchase the software...or am I just a noob user that doesn't know any better??
