Fails to find video, etc., in shared folders

Using a QNAP and installed Linux Station and Twonky Server. After configuring Twonky and selecting my shared folders, the "Status" indicated it was scanning but no videos or other files where found. I've then changed the "Rescan Interval," but the results are the same.
