Twonkysupport for Kenwood VRS-N8100 / DVF-N 7080 ?

Hello
I own the VRS-N8100 receiver. In order to use the network AV features, there has to be a server-SW installed. In this case it's an ugly program written in Java which is not capable to play mediafiles from network.
I think twonky could do better, if it would offer support for these devices. What has to be done to archieve this goal?
I found out, that these devices use some kind of uPNP already, but with an additional, throw kenwood homebrewn code.
