Hello
I own the VRS-N8100 receiver. In order to use the network AV features, there has to be a server-SW installed. In this case it's an ugly program written in Java which is not capable to play mediafiles from network.
I think twonky could do better, if it would offer support for these devices. What has to be done to archieve this goal?
I found out, that these devices use some kind of uPNP already, but with an additional, by kenwood homebrewn, code.

Twonkysupport for Kenwood VRS-N8100 / DVF-N 7080 ?

today i upgraded my twonkymedia to the most current version v4.4. I discovered a setup option for upnp clients on the webinterface for setting up the brand manually.
And there is even an option for selecting Kenwood.
But I don't know for what kind of devices this is for, since my VRS-N8100 still doesn't accept twonkymedia as a server nor is a kenwood device in the list of compatible clients
