Hi,

I have got a Zyxel DMA-1000 Media Player and I'd like to connect
the Zyxel DMA-1000 to a Twonky Media Server.

Picture and music handling works fine, only the video stream
will not work correctly. I tried it with NAS- and PC-Twonky Server


I can stream mpg files, but I like to stream divx and the
DMA-1000 shows the file, but the name of the video is grey
and I can not select the video.

With the provided DIXIM Software form Zyxel the
divx streaming works without any issue.

Is the issue related to the twonky server or Zyxel Media Player?
Both device to should support the DLNA service.

Hi there

Same here, how can I get the two to work together? DivX-Movies are greyed out.

DMA-1000 gets recognized as DLNA 1.5 as device-type, what else should I select?

Hi,

I found out that the client setting CTT DLNA 1.5 in Twonky
fix the grey scaled DIVX bug and you can play
all videos from your server.

But nevertheless are still some issues:

- Media Menus (Video,Picture,Music) on DMA1000
are not working correctly: the navigating the menus
is very slow and in the lowest level you will see
no files (the folders are empty)

- all files are available over the Server Menu

- the file access over the Server Menu
works only in the lowest level...
if you select Artist to play all song from one Artist,
the player will show the files, but he will not find them for playing

Zyxel Support is seeing no issue in the DMA1000!

Remark:
All AVI/DIVX files have to be the right "handler" in the avi/divx header,
otherwise the player stops with an error message.
"DIVX", "DX50","VXID" works proper
Some encoder enter the wrong or special handler and you have to fix it manually (i.e. with AVIEdit)

I have to revise issue between DMA-1000 and Twonky.

- navigating the media menus is still very slow
other client choices do not improve the issue

- over Server Menu all files are available

- in extented navigation setting is a strange behaivour
if you go Artist > Madonna and press play all files will be played
if you go Artist/Index > MNO > Madonna and press play
the player will not find any files, but he will show the names
