How do I get a beta version?

I have herd that the betas support more file formats than the final releases. I am trying to stream to my PS3 and I can play .ts .m2ts and .mp4 files beautifully but I cant get Twonky to stream .mkv or .wmv files. So is there a way to get a hold of the beta versions? I would really like to get these file formats to play.
