ipod touch

as the ipod touch has wireless and a browser (safari) has anyone tried it with the rss feeds that work for the psp or even the webbrowse facility? I've got a slug and happily stream music to my psp but have bought an ipod touch for my daughter for christmas. stupidly, i thought it might be able to act as an itunes client and was getting ready to install firefly/mt-daapd but i find it's not...
