Post

Hi @all
my configuration:
Twonkyvision media server on SuSE Linux 10
Denon AVR 4306
all works fine, but:
is there a solution for the following:
my mp3 files are sorted in the following manner:
01 - file1; 02 - file2 and so on
the problem is, that the Denon ignore the title number and begin to play the album in the alphabetical order, what is not my ambition
in USB-Mode (a device directly connected), the Denon does not ignore the title number...
any solution for this problem...!??
many thanks

You could try checking the id3 tags in your mp3 files with Kid3, or Amarok. Packages for both of these should be available for Suse. Maybe your track number tags are missing, and Twonky is ignoring the track number information you have put into your file names.

Hi folks,
here the answer from twonky support:
you may try to change the client.db file ‑ if the Denon is identified
as a client correctly.
Add the IGNORESORT option to this file and it should work
all works fine
thanks
