I've got two of these (Actually, the Packard Bell Medi@TV rebranded version.) Well, they were being sold off cheap... Unfortnately their server software is a bit lacking, especially when it comes to higher resolution files. (throwing up an error on the server PC, rather than the box. Handy. Not.)
I notice that they were being investigated back in 2004 for use with TwonkyVision. Did anything ever come of it? They certainly don't seem to detect the trial server I've set up.
Or has anybdy investigated the hardware on these boxes with a view to changing the client software atl all?
