TwonkyMedia on Thecus N1200 NAS

I know there's a lot of discussions in the forums about installations of TwonkyMedia on NAS devices, yet I've found little relating to the installation of TwonkyMedia on a Thecus N1200 NAS.

Apparently, someone has created a module for the installation yet the download link they provide is broken and I've tried contacting them on Thecus forums but to no avail.

I have SSH access and I now plan to try and install TwonkyMedia myself yet I don't really know where to begin.

I have pretty good Linux knowledge and any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I bet it's the same module as is used on the N2100 (my machine). Try the N2100 pages at the same site.

I know this is digging up an old thread, but here's a tip to get the latest version of Twonky on your Thecus N1200:

- Go to the NAS versions of any update and use the "Linux PowerPC glibc 2.2.5" type! This seems to work fine on my N1200 even up to version 6.03 beta!

Beats staying on v4.4.3!
