I have a problem using FLAC files with my Linn DS:
The problem:
When enabling the directories in Twonky, containing the FLAC files, the navigation either in the GUI or the SongBook app doesn’t work properly. Selecting “Artists†leads to sub-selection “ALLâ€, again to “ALL until I get into a list containing all files names as set by Exact Audio Copy. Shifting them into the playlist is possible, but then the Linn DS is only playing them for about 0.5 seconds (one after the other) and then stops playing.
Using the same files with a PC based multimedia application (e.g. MediaMonkey) plays them very well directly out of the NAS folder, shows the cover arts and audio is fine.
I then allowed in Twonky only access to a directory containing MP3 files. In this case, the Linn GUI and the SongBook app work very well and the Linn DS plays the playlist as expected.
Any idea, why the FLAC files don’t navigate and play properly in the Linn environment?

Hello,
I got the same problem, to solve it change the setting in
EAC --- <menu> compression options(F11) ---<Tab> external compression
remove tick at "add ID3 tag"
remove tick at "use CRC check"
