Hi,
My QNAP NAS with TwonkyServer 5.1.6 and Kodak Digital Frame W1020 dosnt work properly. I can see my Twonky Server, and browse folders with pictures which are sorted but I dont I see any thumb picture and slideshow dosnt start.
Have you same problems? It works very good with Twonky 4.
I rebuilded database and rescaned database but any change :-(.
Best regards

Hello... Just curious if you ever found a solution to your problem? I have the same frame which worked up until the point I upraded my NAS firmware - which included a Twonky upgrade. I can see the folder/files but just can't view them through the frame. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi if you have a QNAP NAS you can install 4.4.18 via QPG. It is available as package from QNAP.
Not the best solution, but one that will make it work again.

Hi Bennton,

Thanks for the reply. I can find 4.4.17 on the Qnap website but not 4.4.18? Would you be so kind as to send a link to this page? I am anxious to have my frame working again. Also, how hard would it be to uninstall current version and reinstall older version? Not sure if it would be too difficult to include basic instructions? Do i need to SSH into NAS and uninstall/reinstall that way or can i do via QPKG tab within GUI without uninstalling newer version first? My frame sees the folders, files, etc..., but does not disply thumbnails/pics...very frustrating!! I have QNAP 409 Pro.

THanks again -

Hi,

Sorry for the delay in answering. your questions. When you look on the forum from QNAP there is a section on Twonky. To add a QPG is very simple just go to your QNAP page http://yourip:8080 login and under 'application services'select QPKG and there you can add/delete packages. There you also get a link to packages available with QNAP.

Hope that you all ready have solved your trouble otherwise I hope this points you to the right direction :)

Regards,
Bernard
