MKVs don't play on a Samsung BD C6900

I own a Samsung C7000 tv and a C6900 Blu ray player both of which support DLNA. Using the MKV work around (mkvclean) the tv will play a cleaned mkv file. The blu ray player does not. Looking at the manuals they both seem to support the same mkv types.

I know samsung dlna ready devices, mkv's, and twonky don't play very nice right now. I'm just hoping that any future fixes would also work on samsung blu ray players too.

It is easier to get surround sound to my receiver from the blu ray player than the tv.
