Twonky loses database on WD WOrld Edition

Hi,
this may be a stupid question but...
Is it normal that Twonky loses its database every time I switch of my NAS (a WD MyBook World Edition 1.5 TB)?
That seems kind of weord as it needs approx. 45 Mins to restore it every time I boot up afgain.
Is that some feult of mine?
Its Twonky v5.1.9 which comes pre installed and supports DLNA.
