ALAC with SoundBridge

Post by rmenelli » Wed Jan 09, 2008 9:39 pm

Has anyone been able to stream ALAC (Apple Lossless) files to a SoundBridge? I can get the files to show up, but the SoundBridge reports that the files are in an unsupported format, even though the SoundBridge supports ALAC. The guys at Roku claim that TwonkyMedia is probably returning an unexpected MIME type or not sending the bit rate, both of which are used by the SoundBridge to identify file types.

Is there any way to get this to work? Or, how can I see the information that's being sent to the SoundBridge so I can find out the MIME and bit rate information?

FYI, I'm running TwonkyMedia version 4.4.3.1, and the latest stable release of the SoundBridge firmware.

Thanks in advance!
