Video ok but no subtitles

Post by Slayne » Tue Feb 12, 2008 12:58 pm

Hi,

I have a QNAP TS-109, with twonky 4.4.4 RC1, and it works very well to play videos with my xbox360.
But with these videos, I have subtitle files (srt), which are not displayed.

Twonky doens't take in charge subtitles ? Or the xbox is the problem ? Or both ?
Something is planed to play subtitles with videos ?

Thanks
Slayne

Unfortunately, this is an Xbox problem- subtitle files are not (currently) supported.

i'm not if that is true. The Xbox media player now has buttons to show/hide subtitles. I have also seen a previous post from twonky stating that supporting external (.srt) files is on their radar screen.
I would definitely would like to see this feature implemented.
