Lo fellas,
had a quick read through the 1st 10 pages or so, and you seem to know your stuff.
Santa bought me a shiny new Qnap 109 II box t.I updated firmware and have no probs really other than this one.
I have a couple of other NAS boxes on my network(Buffalos) with my media on.Now I can see all my media on the QNAP box as ive made 3 dir's ( music mp3 video and put a few bits there) however rather than copying all my other media and filling the Qnap box up I like to view it \ play it from where it lives at the moment.
Is this possible ? I have put just about every path i can think of in every format to get to these extenal boxes all to no avail the 360 just sees the stuff on the qnap box nothing else.
I cant browse to these boxes either view the 'sharing' page.
Am i trying to do the impossible?
