Skipping to a specific point in a video/movie

Post by mr kronik » Thu Jan 07, 2010 2:26 pm

Hi everyone,
I have an ICYBOX-NAS 3221-B model with twonkymedia installed (version 4.4.9). It all works fine with my XBOX but I don't know how to skip a specific time within the film. At the moment I have to press play and then fast forward x 8 to get to a specific section.

I have the media centre controller for the XBOX360 and have tried most of the buttons to no effect. Anyone have any ideas?

thanks,
Chris

I don't think the Xbox has a seek-to feature.

However, you can jump between sections of the video, the Xbox segments the video file into about 10 - 15 sections. Use the next/previous track to jump.

Thanks for the help. I assume its an XBOX limitation. Guess I'll have to try and watch my films in one go from now on then.

Cheers,
Chris
