Won't work, at least not with TV in its current incarnations.

I've used tversity and i can show subtitle with the ps3, but with Twonky no.
Why?

If you're still trying to do this, you can use DivxMux and remux the avi and audio and srt subtitle into a Divx container, which can stream with working subtitles.
