Twonky keeps disconnecting

About every minute the PS3 reports that the media server has disconnected and the music playback stops. Other devises on the network have no problems (Philips SLA5520 and a Soundbridge) Twonky 4.4 is running on a NSLU2, I have also installed the latest version on my PC (4.4.3.1) but this also disconnects. I have tried networking the PS3 by cable instead of wireless, again no change. The PS3 software is running on version 2.1
A Windows media player server running on another machine works ok on the PS3 but does not display the album art
Is there some setting that I have overlooked?
Thanks
Chris

Known issue. 4.4.1 (Beta/RC) fixes this, along with the missing album art. See the beta forum for further details.

I had the same problem and assigning twonky to a specific IP only fixed the problem for me. My twonky server has 4 interfaces and it seems twonky is not happy to bind itself to multiple interfaces. Give it a try if you do not need it to listen on multiple interfaces.

Hi all,
I have also the problem with disconnecting. It is really strange since I get disconnects every minute. It is always at the same time when I restart an mp3 song. First time 1:18 min and then every other minute. I have tried everything in the configuration but without an effect. It is all connected via Gbit LAN and fixed IP addresses. I also put a fixed IP address in to the twonky media Server. The PS3 FW is the actual one and also the Twonky Media Software is the 4.4 version.
Do any one have an Idea what the problem is? I am really sad about this situation.
Thanks in advance
Thorsten

This is really starting to aggravate me. When I downloaded the trial version it worked just fine for a month. Then I purchased the license and now it keeps cutting out every minute or so. If this keeps happening, I'll see if I can get a refund!

same here. twonky 4.4.4 on a mac, disconnects every minute.
static ip, bind to server, upnp disabled, wired connection, Mac OSx leopard
i think it's an issue.keep bumping for a bugfix
P.S in version 4.2 i used to disable content scans and that stopped the message, but not in 4.4.4.it's every 60 seconds.

I have managed to update to version 4.4.3.1 (after some trouble trying to find the correct file to update my NSLU2) this is working well so far with no "tweeks".

can't really say what it was..restarted linksys router.enabled PnP,took my Ps3 back onto a dynamic ip rather than static, disabled QoS and all of a sudden it worked..! am not going to touch anything for a mighty long time!

If the WiFi and Ethernet are both enabled and configured for the same network - the PS3 switches between the 'TWO' servers it sees there forth and back.
Please either disable one interface - or set the IP address of the interface you want to use in the web configuration/network page of the server.
Also please make sure to do rebuild database under Maintenance if you have made any changes on the configuration page.
Good Luck
