Hi,
I just installed TwonkyVision server (Vista) and when selecting it with my PS3 I get a DNLA network protocol error 7531 that the PS3 says is coming from the media server.

Does anyone know how to correct this?

Check your ID3 tags and ensure that there are no 'invalid' characters. They must be all ascii characters.

You are correct in regards to the Media Server. Your computer may be trying to share media through its default setup. To prevent this error, disable Media Server on the PS3.

Settings > Network Settings > Media Server > Disable
