cant play .wav

Post by HiRez24 » Fri Feb 08, 2008 12:54 am

Was wondering if anybody is able to stream .wav to there ps3 via twonky ps3 states it can support .wav, so does twonky but do they work together? I have been using eac (Exact Audio Copy) to rip my cds
ps3 sees the files but claims they are unsupported.I have every thing connected via gigabit network, everything else works fine. emailed twonky but have not recieved reply yet so I figured I would try the forum.

Hi, i think the problem is not on PS3 side.

I can stream WAV with the DLNA-Media Server which comes with my NAS

Thanks Myrrdin. I just tried the same .wav files with the windows media player server and they work fine. So fault must be with twonky. I hope they fix the problem soon or at least return my email to let me know they are aware and working on the isue
