Hi guys, just a quick question about this Twonky.

I have a 1tb My Book World HDD attatched to my router. I store all my music and video etc on this.

My PS3 is wired into the router too. If I use Twonky will I be able to access all of my files on the PS3 if my laptop is switched off or will it have to be swithced on? I presume Twonky would sit on the laptop and as a result the laptop would have to be on for the PS3 to recognise it.

Thanks in advance

Twonky would need to be installed on your NAS for the PS3 to access the media files directly. You may want to look at this link as it appears someone successfully installed Twonky on the WD MyBook World Edition:

Failing that you could install MediaTomb, an open source DLNA server, it's not as user friendly as Twonky but it's free and an install guide is available here:
