Preview pictures

Dear all,
I installed 4.4.4RC3 on a terastation (perfect! M2ts files are now shown and streamable).
But: In former versions the thumbnail pictures were shown directly and fast by the PS3. Very helpful to get a overview of a directory.
In the new version I can rebuild the database completely but PS3 shows the typical waiting-rotating camera icon, stops then with searching and shows only the camera-icon but doesn't load the thumbnail anymore.
The original sized picture itself can be streamed w/o any problems.
Streaming to a PC with Twonky Webbrowser shows also these resized pictures.
Does anyone have similar problems or better a solution ...
