album art garbled

Almost all of the album art in the tags on my mp3s show up garbled on the ps3 when viewed from twonky. Only about five albums show up correctly. They are all jpg and 150x150. Any ideas what the problem could be? If not is there a way to turn off album art without removing it from the tags of all 5,000 or so files I have?
