Ps3 can't find m3u playlists

I have twonky installed on my nslu2 and can stream to the ps3 just fine. I created playlists in winamp and keep them in the directory of the music that is in the playlist. Is there anything special that I have to do to get the ps3 to recognize them?

I am running 4.4.5

Thanks

Jarek

Hi,
I have the same problem (using a Qnap NAS) and I tried many time .m3u with no success. I am sure it is a bug, either on the PS3 or (most likely) on the twonky server side. I have cross checked using Tversity media server on a PC and it does discover the very same m3u file that Twonky fail to recognize. I also suspect that m3u files with many entry cause instability, restart and poor performance during the scan of the directory.
So I removed all the m3u files from the directory scanned by Twonky.

I was very frustrated because I really like to prepare and listen music playlist rather then single mp3.

But there is a work around.
Twonky have no problem with .pls format, so I suggest you to create your playlists in .pls format instead of m3u

I use playlist creator 3.5 for that and is working just fine for me.
