I found and confirmed a bizarre bug in TV 4.4.5:
If you have mp3's in directory or with filenames that include a "&" (ampersand) in TV 4.4.5, it will fail on caching and displaying the cover art on the PS3!
Change the "&" to an "and" or a "+" and the cover art is working again.
The above does not apply to ID3 tags with "&" in it, this works fine...
Current workaround:
Download TV 5.01ß and copy/overwrite the following two files in the cgi-bin directory of TV 4.4.5:
cgi-jpegscale
jpeg-scale.desc
- ThyMaster
P.S.: Given the fact that there has been no life sign from TV for the last 3 months or so and the 5.01ß being untouched for the same time I do not expect any bugfix anyway... I actually do not expect any further development on TV at all... sorry to say, but: R.I.P.
