I would like to ba able to transfer media files from my PC running Twonky Media Server 4.4 to my 40 GB PS3.

The transfer itself works but it is SO SLOW!!!!

It took me 25 minutes copying a 325 MB AVI file. At this speed, you can understand that it is also impossible to stream either video or audio from the PC to the PS3.

My network is wired from end to end, so I should be able to get 100 Mbps speed.

Do you have any idea why it is so slow? How could I fix it?

Packet collisions? It sounds like a network/socket level problem, not a appplication level.

Try re setting up your network connection on your PS3, if they does not work, reset your router to default settings.

I tried re-setting the configs on both the Ps3 and the PC... Did not go better.

Also tried changing the MTU just to make sure... Did not go better...

Any other ideas?
