I've upgarded to 2.5 on the PS3 and all my remuxed movies still work so no further damage has been done!
I like the ability to skip times and it would be nice if you could change the skip interval from 1 minute. It maybe you can do this - _ just havent looked yet!
PS 2.5 gets my vote (with twonky)

If you bring up scene search during a video, it gives you thumbails of the movie at the following intervals.

30sec
1min
2min
5min
as you hover over the movie thumbnail, it plays it. Very swish.

With the 2.50 firmware update for the PS3 and I can again stream my Hi-Def camcorder files to the PS3 without any mux’ing, remuxing, TSMux’ing, etc.
Canon HG10 —> Windows Home Server —> PVConnect —> PS3
