Short hissing sound when audio track ends

Hi friends, I've been using Twonky server (installed on a WD NetCenter 500gb with modified firmware) and everything is ok so far. I've had this setup a couple of months now and latelly (I assume after the latest firmware update of PS3 2.52 as I don't remember if this happened before) when a track ends and the next one starts there is a short but loud hissing noise, maybe 1-2 milliseconds.All my audio files are .wav files and of course no file has this hissing sound when played with Windows Media Player
I installed an older version of Twonky but the same happens. I installed the latest (4.4.9) but still the same.
Any ideas please

Hi, IÂ´m sorry, that I doÂ´nt answer to your question and instad place another question, but I think an easy to answer question for you. You talked about a "modified firmware" for NertCenter. Where can I find that firmware? A lot of thanks for your anser.
