Streams does not start and data formats are not supported

Post by Hullabaloo » Tue Dec 09, 2008 5:18 pm

Hi,

I installed my TwonkyServer on a NSLU2 a few days ago. It worked fine (4.4.5), but when I updated to 4.4.9 in order to play mkv-files the problems started.
According to my PS3 mkv-files are not supported and I can not open them anymore. All other media is shown, but when I try to open a file (music or video, photo still works) they simply do not start. The screen wents black but nothing happens. I can access the files via the webinterface without problems (via PC).

My PS3 firmware is set to the current one.
I changed my LAN-settings at the ps3 to wired and static, changed the MTU to 1492 and tried to reconnect and restart the server. Nothing helped. any ideas?

Here´s a short look into the logfile. Is it an IP-problem?

Ok I managed to play most of the files now by deleting all Mac and IP-related things at NSLU,Router and PS3. The only problem that remains is that I can see the mkv files in the PS3 menu but only as "incompatible data" although it worked 2 days ago.

Odd. Never had mkvs working on the PS3 through anything as unless Twonky remuxes on the fly the PS3 doesn't support them?

I just remux to either vob or m2ts.
